Mimi & Garrick had been engaged for nearly 4 years, but plans of getting married got pushed aside by life and 2 beautiful babies! Mimi runs an animal hospital in Longmont while Garrick is out firefighting - you can’t make this stuff up! Everything about their story brings tears to my eyes and inspires love! That’s why when a few passionate vendors and I were deciding on our elopement giveaway winners, they were the obvious choice! In a matter of weeks, their wedding day came together as did their closest friends and family!
Mimi arrived to our gorgeous venue, the St. Vrain in Longmont, and got started on some bridal pampering! Shortly after, Garrick arrived with their 2 little girls in tow and the two spent a few minutes alone during their first look in the most beautiful intimate space downstairs. Mimi chose a non-traditional gold dress that was to die for, and their 2 girls looked beautiful in their matching dresses with accents to match mom’s! If that weren’t cute enough, the family’s 2 dogs joined us for a few photos and tail wags!
After photographer Chelsea Jo took the two to Callahan House for a few couples’ portraits, it was time for their intimate ceremony! Mimi & Garrick were surrounded by 15 of their favorite people, with Garrick’s brother taking on the role of officiant. The ceremony was made even more special by opening up the floor to guests to speak about Mimi & Garrick’s love. Once the vows and rings were exchanged, the couple’s cozy cocktail hour could commence!
The couple’s guests took some beautiful photos in between enjoying a few drinks and appetizers from Sugar Pine Catering. The lounge furniture at the venue made for plenty of eye catching seating and the younger company played games at the kids table. After the last “congratulations” and “we’re so happy for yous” were exchanged, the couple and a few of the guests made their way to dinner to continue their celebration!
Congratulations to Mimi & Garrick and your incredible family! All of your vendors truly loved working with you and wish you a lifetime of smiles as big as this one! <3
