Katy & Solomon achieved the impossible in 2019: planning a kickass wedding in just a few months! They brought me on about halfway through the process and I was beyond excited for about a million reasons! Their Sunrise Amphitheater ceremony and Skylight reception were sure to be stunning and as we started accumulated wonderful vendors and gorgeous decor, the vision began to come to life! Katy & her ladies started the day at Skylight getting their hair and makeup done in between some adorable snapshots! Before long, we were off to Sunrise Amphitheater to prep for the most important part of the day - the ceremony!

Katy & Solomon’s 120 or so guests started trickling in and made their way down the stone steps to the beautiful amphitheater at the top of Flagstaff! The hand made arch was the perfect backdrop, as this Boulder site doesn’t need to be dressed up too much! The two had a mid length ceremony with lots of interaction from family & friends and lots of energy from their incredible officiant! The weather held out just long enough for the vows to be exchanged before we got a little bit of rain - perfect for photos!

As family finished up pics and guests made their way back to reception, my team and I made sure the transition was a smooth one! Katy & Solomon had their own mistmatched china that dressed up Skylight’s farm tables which were topped off with some greenery, candles, and personal touches! Behind them hung some equally mismatched vintage frames and Katy’s grandmother’s chandelier. Before long we were enjoying some tasty bbq, words from friends, and dancing!

One of the absolute highlights of the night was Katy’s surprise dance for Solomon. She and her bridesmaids choreographed a killer dance that encompassed some of today’s top hits! The outfit change blew us all away - especially our surprised groom! Congratulations to Katy & Solomon, it was an honor celebrating with you and a night to remember!
