Listen, we know there’s no shortage of wedding entertainment these days! From live painters to casino rentals - there are endless creative ways to entertain your guests! But what about bringing your FAVORITE things to life on wedding day? We’re talking the weird, the wild, the seemingly impossible - like a pop up tattoo shop!
At Kaitlin Shea Weddings & Events, where there’s a will there’s a way! We were given the opportunity to bring this idea to life in 2022 with Realm’s “Feel Something” event and we’re so excited that one of our 2023 couples is going to do the same!
So what did/does it look like to create an on site tattoo shop? First things first - finding the artist! For “Feel Something” my own personal tattoo artist (Keith Goble) joined us on site with some of his supplies! With his utility cart and adjustable chair in tow, he settled in in front of our flash wall setup complete with neon tattoo sign! The tattoo designs that Keith created pulled from the decor being utilized throughout the space and was perfectly on theme!
The additional decor, meant to mimic the funky thrifted feel of tattoo shop decor, was found at shops like Arc & Goodwill! The space was finished off with a selfie mirror and chairs for our “waiting room!” We’d say the event was a success…13 tattoos in 4 hours!
Pro Tip - make sure to work with reputable professionals when achieving something big like this! Keith was sure to sanitize in between sessions and had everything he needed for proper disposal/cleanup! Ready to start planning something crazy yourself?! Give us a shout! <3
