Planner Saylor here… Okay, how perfect is it that my two favorite things in the world (weddings and my sister) got to be wrapped up in one?! This was by far the most special wedding I’ve ever been a part of because I got to be on the inside for once!

I started the planning process with Madison and Nick at the start of their engagement, and it was easy for two sisters to dive into dreaming up a wedding together (we involved Nick too, don’t worry!!) Being immersed in the planning from the perspective of a sister AND planner was a unique scenario. I do, however, have a favorite part from Madison and Nick’s wedding, and that is how personal they made the day.

The ceremony had a simple, dreamy design that included the most beautiful parts of Madison and Nick. They chose a close mentor to officiate their wedding, and he curated every word to display who Madison and Nick are as a couple. Their reception was full of Crumbl cookies (their favorite), a cake made by a sweet friend, and lots and lots of DANCING! If you know Nick and Madison like I do, you would know that this was priority number one on their wedding list. Nick’s good friend/co-worker was the DJ and MC for the night, and he brought the party!

One of the biggest pieces of advice that we can give our couples is to prepare a day with all of their favorite things. Your vendor team will make sure your day comes to life so that you can enjoy every piece of it!
